Started his career as an infantryman in the 4th Ranger Corps. of the Malaysian Army, He rose to the rank of Sergeant before leaving the service in 1979. During his 15 years stint in the Army Ranger Corps. he has served in Congo under the United Nation peace enforcement mission from 1962 – 63. His tour of duty included various operations/ campaign against the Parti Komunis Malaya (PKM) during the Second Emergency in Peninsular Malaysia and during the Paraku Insurgency in East Malaysia (Sabah & Sarawak) throughout the 70s.
He is the founding father of Technical Arms (formerly known was TAYMO SDN BHD) and has been with the company since its incorporation date. Considered as the back bone for Technical Arms, through his hard work and determination ingrained through years of training, discipline and determination throughout his services in the Ranger Corps.
Technical Arms had succeeded in securing and carrying out various contracts for Government agencies as well as private developers in the Northern states of Peninsular Malaysia.
