TECHNICAL ARMS SDN BHD (formerly known name was TAYMO SDN BHD)  is a 100% bumiputra owned company and was incorporated in Alor Setar, Kedah in 1984. It was led by Ahmad Mokhtar Ishak with a core business of providing services for government and corporate agencies and was involved in housing projects in the state of Kedah, Perlis and Pulau Pinang.

In late 2002, TECHNICAL ARMS SDN BHD was restructured and Wan Faizuddin Wan Kamaruddin was appointed as the Managing Director of the company. TECHNICAL ARMS SDN BHD operation branched out from Alor Setar to Kuala Lumpur.  In February 2004, Wan Faizuddin became the new shareholder and director.  Through his stewardship, he has set-up a qualified and experienced team to facilitate current and future program while diversifying into newer business activities.

One of the major activities undertaken is the supply of firearms and relevant training program.  Technical Arms has been awarded as the sole agent to supply GLOCK handguns and accessories in Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam.

The Company operates on a more personalized level with emphasis on the long-term relationship based on mutual trust than on sheer profitability alone. This has proven to be the added advantage offered by the company aside from a wide variety of quality products at competitive prices.

In 2007, Technical Arms has further solidity its business commitments in the firearms business after being selected by various International and local suppliers of firearms related accessories such as bullets proof vest, holsters, belts, tactical lights, gun oils, lanyards, clearing chamber and etc to represent their products in Malaysia. The Company restructured and is now operating under a more dynamic and efficient management team. The new team shall continue with the Company’s fine tradition of providing exemplary service but with an increased level of transparency and better corporate governance.

The Company operates on a more personalized level with emphasis on the long-term relationship based on mutual trust. This has proven to be an added advantage offered by the company aside from providing a wide range of quality products at competitive prices to customers.

With the ability to accommodate customers’ application, technical and financial requirements, the Company aims to establish itself as a ‘one stop’ firearms and ammunitions procurement center and maintenance provider over the next 10 years, with a view to become the leaders of the industry as the long term goal.
